Charlie From Dream Team Bargains.
Martha (with husband Dave) both own a charity which has done all sorts of good deeds. Gee is a musician who had popped into the studio last week, having not met Kym or anyone else here yet. Also going by The Crazy World of Little Gee, that name fits as he came in today with face paint. He usually dresses very wild with different kind of face paint.
Gee usually wears all kinds of costumes on stage, his record being 13. He said that he wears them all on top of each other and gradually takes them off throughout the course of a performance.
One of the songs played this show was Corton. The song came from a Louis Theroux documentary. In it, he found a guy who can apparently channel and talk to an alien called Corton. Gee found it hilarious and knew he had to sample it. In the song, there is a sample of a woman yelling. Apparently, Skrillex sampled the same thing.
Martha has recently been awarded an MBE for the work done with her charity. She is the founder of Love Zimbabwe, a UK based charity that works in with a community in Zimbabwe. The charity works on increasing sustainability in the community and tries to give them ownership. A lot to do with climate change and helping people survive.
The new show and tell segment returned in which the guests had to bring in an item to talk about. Gee brought in some pictures that he had made. He used to dance and be involved with another band. The first being a drawing of one of the dancers. Martha brought a walking stick which has many engravements on. it. The stick being made from a tree from Zimbabwe. In 2014, she and Dave spoke with the Chief of the village who was somewhat if a legend, so for him to walk anywhere he needed the walking stick. Last month, Martha signed up to walk 100 kilometres. She regretted it and started having sleepless nights over it. She would then have the idea to take the stick and was able to do it.
