Newport Open-Air Cinema Festival
August 9th- 13th 2025

Featuring popular film classics as well as entertainment, Wonder Cinema is bringing four films to the former leisure centre site near Kingsway car park.

Shows Include: –
Mamma Mia Experience & Singing Performance
Dirty Dancing Experience & Singing Performance
Wicked & Singing Act
The Greatest Showman Experience & Fire Act
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone

And, thanks to Newport City Council using UK government funding, the 400 tickets for each performance will be free.

Cinema goers can bring their own chair, picnic blanket and snacks. There will also be food and drink available to buy as well as chairs to hire.

Like the company says, you can jump into a world of wonder!

Please note, during family focussed films, there will be no sale of alcohol.
