Pirates in the Port

Pirates in the Port is the City of Newport’s own Shanty and Folk Music Festival.

40 bands playing in 11 city centre venues across the weekend of 31 May/1 June and it’s All FREE!!

From the Corn Exchange, Le Pub and McCanns, down the High Street via Slipping Jimmys, The Market and Sips Cafe, to The Lamb, The Pen & Wig, to The Mercure, The Potters and the Riverfront Theatre.

All venues within 15 minutes walk, pumping out the best in Shanty and Folk from all over the UK.
