Talk: Stanley Lewis’ ‘The Home Front’

Newport Museum and Art Gallery cares for Stanley Lewis’ large-scale painting ‘The Home Front’. In it, he depicted Newport’s Civil and Volunteer Services active during the Second World War, including firemen, fire watchers, doctors and nurses.

Join us in the Art Gallery alongside the painting and related items from the Museum’s collection for an informal talk about the story of this monumental work.
