Episode 78: What'll be in the box at Elimination Chamber?
Maindee was absolutely alive with colour this weekend as the Full Colour Festival brought the community together for a day of music, art, and pure good vibes! The festival, which has become a local favourite, showcased vibrant street performances, live bands, creative workshops and stunning art displays that turned the streets into a giant canvas.
From families enjoying the food stalls to people dancing to the live music, the atmosphere was buzzing all day. Many attendees raved about the ‘brilliant atmosphere’, with locals and visitors alike coming together to celebrate Maindees creativity and diversity.
If you weren’t there, you missed out- but don’t worry, you can catch it next time!
Big news for Newport! Our very own Abbie Vincent, a dedicated Girlguiding volunteer, is about to have her red carpet moment!
Abbie has been invited to attend a swanky celebration event that recognises the amazing work of volunteers across the UK, and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder.
Abbie has been volunteering with Girlguiding for a while now, making a huge impact on the lives of young girls by giving them space to grow, learn, and most importantly- have fun. From organising camping trips to teaching important life skills, she’s the real deal when it comes to inspiring the next generation.
We couldn’t be prouder to see one of our local heroes in the spotlight. Go Abbie!
A round of applause for our local Masons- they’ve revealed an incredible £1 million raised during their local festival appeal!
This huge achievement is thanks to the dedication and generosity of members and supporters, all rallying together for a great cause.
The funds will go towards supporting various charities and community projects, making a real difference across the region. The Masons have a long history of giving, and this impressive total shows just how committed they are to helping others.
