What is your history at Newport City Radio?

I joined Urban Circle radio in April 2018 and helped it rebrand to Newport City Radio

What is your role?

Head tea maker, and manager of the direction we go in

What’s your favouite part of being on the team?

The volunteers. The best humans on the planet

What song makes you want to dance?

I’m a DJ… we hide in boxes cos we can’t dance.

Favourite kind of cake?

Anything chocolate

Greg James from Radio 1. Top radio presenter doing a top job on the breakfast show

When you were 10 years old, what did you think you would grow up to be?

Radio DJ. At 5years old I wanted to be a nurse!

I think it was T’Pau at the Newport Centre. They we’re great, but the support band were even better.

Lliswerry Infants, Lliswerry Junior and Lliswerry High (when it became a Comprehensive for a few years)

Why should people listen to Newport City Radio? 

Because no one can do Newport like we do. Loads of hard effort goes into making it professionally amateur so our City can be proud of it
