Episode 78: What'll be in the box at Elimination Chamber?
Get ready to win... by being a little bit brave
Newport City Radio is bringing a little mystery to the city centre with Secret Shopkeeper – a fun, free way to support local independent businesses and give listeners the chance to win gift cards.
Over two weeks, six independent city-centre shops will secretly take part in the challenge. Each shop will have one prize available, hidden in plain sight.
The prizes
There are six Newport Now gift cards out there:
2 × £100
2 × £50
2 x £25
Once a prize is won, that shop is no longer part of the game.

Each weekday morning on Newport City Radio, we’ll reveal a new clue pointing you towards our Secret Shopkeeper locations. -

Important rules & terms
Participation is free. No purchase is required.
One prize is available per shop, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each person may win one prize only during the campaign.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Winners must be happy for their name and photo to be shared on Newport City Radio’s website and social media.
Shops, staff members, Newport City Radio volunteers, and their immediate families are not eligible to take part.
Newport City Radio’s decision is final in all matters relating to the competition.
The campaign runs from Monday 26th January to Friday 7th February, or until all prizes are claimed.
