Summer Sessions 25’ All You Need To Know

Where is the event taking place?

The event is being held in the performance area of Beechwood Park featuring 3 days of Local original music and children’s entertainment.

When is the event taking place?

The event is from Friday 25th July to Sunday 27th July. The times of the event are as follows:

Friday 25th July 5pm to 9pm

Saturday 26th July 2pm to 9pm

Sunday 27th July 2pm to 9pm

Who is playing?

The event features a wide variety of artists from Newport and surrounding areas. This year’s headline acts are Aisha Kigs (Fri), Parcs (Sat), The Rogues (Sun). The line up also includes Ratoon, Bryony Sier, Hair Dye, Brook Fox, Frankie Wesson, Eleri, The Moonstones, Ryan Keyse and The Nightshift and more.

Will There Be Food And Drink?

It is advised to bring your own food and drink but there will be food vendors on site.

There will be a mobile bar provided by The Rainbow Bar serving Cocktails, Pimms, Aperol Spritz, San Miguel, Inchs’ Cider as  well as non alcoholic drinks.

Attendees are encouraged to take their rubbish with them in order to maintain a clean environment.

Can I Bring Children?

Yes, this is a family friendly event and there will be children’s entertainment provided by Art Haus Wales.

Is There A Fee?

This event is FREE to attend across the weekend thanks to Shared Prosperity Funding from Newport City Council.

How Do I Get There?

Beechwood Park is a 42 minute walk from the centre of Newport and is served well by Local Transport.

Here are some recommendations:

74A – A 16 minute journey with a 5 minute walk.

6 – A 17 minute journey with a 5 minute walk

There is a bus stop directly outside the main entrance of the park.
