Let's make some noise this Small Business Saturday!

Small Business Saturday returns this weekend — and Newport is ready to celebrate the brilliant independents that keep our city centre vibrant, creative and full of personality.

This national campaign encourages people to shop local, support local, and champion the small businesses that play a vital role in our communities. Here in Newport, we’re going all out with a full day of live performances and spotlights on much-loved local traders.

Live music across our city.

Backing local.

On Friday 28th November, our team went out filming eight local businesses, each sharing:

  • What they do

  • Why they chose Newport

  • Their festive message

  • Any seasonal offers

  • And how you can find them

These short features will be released across our social channels in the lead up to Small Business Saturday — shining a spotlight on the passion and personality behind each business.
