Around lunchtime on Friday, a street performance was held in the town centre.
The performance included a piece of wood with the word ‘Public’ on it, being sawn into pieces, and being swept up.

Also on Friday, protesters gathered at Barclays bank. More can be found on this on Newport City Radio’s news page.
