he most recent season of Arrow opens up with Oliver trying to get a new team together after he realises he can’t work alone anymore after becoming mayor and losing the team last season from ether retirement, death or just disappearing, but he does have some team mates still with him, like Felicity.
The first half of the season is good with the plot being about dealing with the main antagonist’s henchman Tobias Church plans, which can basically be summed up as stealing as much money as he can then leave town, Prometheus when he arrives seems to keep one upping Oliver, who seems to know every move he makes before he even makes them, even getting Oliver to kill a friend’s lover just to prove a point.
The villains this season include Z to C listers, including Vigilante, a vigilante who thinks the Green Arrow is a villain, Talia Al Ghul, the other and more well known daughter of Ras Al Ghul and Prometheus, who was a Batman villain who’s basically batman, but for the bad guy. There’s also a few return villains including China White and Deathstroke.
The Final half of the season is also good, With the plot being about trying to get the upper hand with Prometheus, which is seemingly impossible because it feels like he’s playing 7d chess with them with how much he planned this out, Oliver even tries to go back into his connections with Russian mob to help him, even burning all bridges to get there. Overall this season is a good return to form with good chorography, a great plot, bad to great characters and a good crossover episode with the rest of the DCTV shows.
