No Tricks Just Treats

Head to Friars walk in your best costume this Halloween. Join in the cauldron trail or enjoy spooky face painting. Prizes for best costumes are also promised.

Follow the tow path and find clues and characters everyday this half term. Become a woodland wizard as you follow the spooky Halloween trail and claim your reward.

Each half term libraries across Newport offer free story and craft sessions; a great way to fill a couple of hours. Suitable for ages 4 to 10.

Another offering of free crafts from Newport Museum and Art Gallery. These popular sessions are always a good way to fill an hour getting creative.

Price: £3.20 per person
This half term BBC Children in Need Movies for Juniors is better than ever. Cineworld in Spytty have 3 films on offer throughout half term. Christopher Robin, Hotel Transylvania and Incredibles 2 are all showing for the reduced rate of just £3.20 per person. Find full details here.
Haunted Halloween Quest
When: Until 31st October @ 11am
Where: Caldicot Castle
Price: £2.50 per child
See inside the spooky castle walls and explore the creepy castle grounds with a Halloween quest exploring the cobwebbed nooks, haunted crannies and spooky towers of Caldicot Castle. There's a Halloween goody bag for every child taking part!
Halloween Broomstick School
When: 30th – 31st October @ 10am
Where: Llanyrafon Manor
Price: £7.50 per child
Weave a broomstick and decorate with the resident Willow Weaving Witches. Then practice riding your broomstick around the grounds whilst following the Pumpkin Trail (£1 extra per child). Fancy Dress encouraged.
