“I’m very happy with the new training facility here and everyone who has helped turn it into what it is has done a fantastic job,” said Scadding.
“It was never really a case of finances with this place as the people who owned Bar Amber were more than happy to see it go into the hands of the players and Newport County Football Club.
“It is now more of a useful facility for us that we are really going to get the most out of.
“In terms of the day-to-day use, it’s much better because last year the players had to use three different changing rooms and now they’re all together which is great for the team bonding.
“I think we just need to keep the way we’re going and off the field try to be as good as the team is on the pitch.
“Justin has taken the team on so far now that maybe we need to up our plans a bit, but I think things are coming along really well and I’m really chuffed with the direction the club is going in.”
