The majority of these can be classed at regulars for Edinburgh who was particularly keen to get first-choice goalie, Pidgeley, and last season’s top goalscorer and player of the year, Zebroski, to commit to the club.
Negotiations with Mike Flynn and defender Byron Anthony are ongoing with confirmation of their futures expected by the end of the week, with the County boss wanting to sort the heart of his team early in the transfer window.
Flynn looks almost certain to stay on at Rodney Parade with the 33-year-old possibly also taking up a coaching role within the club.
Fans will be anxious to hear whether Wales international Darcy Blake will commit to staying on with the Exiles with negotiations still ongoing with the central defender, although Edinburgh admits he remains confident of a deal.
Edinburgh, along with Jimmy Dack and Wayne Hatswell, is confident that some fresh faces will also be brought in before the squad reports back for the pre-season on 30th June.
The County squad so far is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Lenny Pidgeley, Jamie Stephens
Defenders: Andrew Hughes, Ryan Jackson, Ismail Yakubu, Andy Sandell
Midfielders: Adam Chapman, Lee Minshull, Robbie Willmott
Strikers: Danny Crow, Chris Zebroski, Christian Jolley, Rene Howe, Aaron O’Connor, Shaun Jeffers, Joe Parker
I think it's fair to say that there might not be any more strikers coming in with so many already signed on!
