harlene is a singer-songwriter. She also manages and develops artists and you can hear her on Lamsie on the Loose from 5pm on Monday 12th March when she'll be talking about the release of her first album. Before her live interview on Newport City Radio, I got to ask her a few fun questions. Here's what she had to say....
Q. What was the very first CD you owned?
A. I was quite young when I had my first CD, it was Annie Lennox - Walking on Broken Glass.
Q. Is it true that blondes have more fun?
A. I'm not sure if blondes have fun. Fun is what you make it.
Q. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
A. I believe we all have superpowers and we just haven't all tapped into them.
Q. The best ice cream flavour is?
Q. Create a cocktail and give it a name.
A. I create my own cocktails using a smoothie maker. I use fresh pineapple, Malibu and ice.
Q. What was the last book you read?
A. It was called Past Lives. It's about the understanding of reincarnation and who we were in our past lives.
Q. Which cartoon character would you like to be for a day?
A. Definitely, Tinkerbell or Cinderella because I'm tiny like Tinkerbell and could fit the glass slipper.
Q. Tell us about the last place you went for a holiday.
A. I went to Ibiza for 8 months. It was incredible.
Q. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
A. I'd probably go back to Ibiza or Malaga.
Q. If you were stuck in a lift, who would you like for company?
A. I'd like Ed Sheeran and Drake!
Q. What is at the end of a rainbow?
Q. What's the most annoying song?
A. It has to be Mans Not Hot by Big Shaq.
Q. Who is your favourite comedian?
A. Lee Nelson or Lee Evans.
Q. How many languages can you say hello in?
Q. Your favourite TV show is?
A. There's a few: Vampire Diaries, The Originals, The Grimm, Shadow Hunters & Dr Who.
Q. What's the best advice your parents gave you?
A. Be happy and shed love into the world.
Q. What's the best birthday or Christmas present you ever had?
A. When I was a child, it was either a giant automatic Jeep or a snooker table.
Q. Who was your best friend when you were a kid?
A. When I was growing up, my best friend was Kirsty. We knew each other from about 12. I recently met up with her. She's a single mother with a beautiful home in Bath and she's enjoying life right now.
Q. What would you tell your 13-year-old self?
A. I would tell myself what I did tell myself when I was 13! That dreams can come true. It's not where you came from it's where you're going that is the true magic. Life is what you make it.
