If they are blown away, say that it is the best that they have ever seen, or it exceeded calculations congratulations, at least one of your Pokémon’s IV’s at the maximum value of 15. On the other hand comments like not pointing to greatness, or not out of the norm, or kind of basic point to your highest app being around 7 or even lower. This can be hugely important figuring out which Pokémon you want to evolve and feed candy to take on gyms with.
For example let’s say you have three Dratini’s but you only have enough candy to evolve one into a Dragonite which one is worth it?
Blanch says that Dratini A is above average and his attack stats exceed calculations, that means whilst his attacks is at the max of 15 the other stats are not so hot, totaling around 50 to 60 percent of its potential power.
Dratini B has caught Blanche’s attention and once again the attacks have exceeded calculations, it’s better than the first but still only around 60 to 80 percent of its full potential.
Then we have Dratini C and Blanch says it’s breath-taking and in all of this it’s attack power exceeds expectation, but it’s matched by its defense, that means that both attack and defense are at a max of 15 and his percentage is above 80 percent and just below 100 percent. If its health matched attack and defense we’d have the perfect Pokémon, knowing that Dratini C is the best choice for a powerful Pokémon to power up.
Now while it’s not exactly clear when those features are Niantic has previously said that they are exploring to adding trading, Pokémon Centres, Pokéstop customization, and of course more Pokémon to capture.
