he sixth episode of Rick and Morty starts off with Rick taking Morty to an adventure while he was trying to flirt with Jessica and trying to get her to fall in love with him. A week passes by when we return to the duo trying to blow up a giant bug creature in space, which afterwards they decide they should have a break due to the adventure being really stressful.
The duo head to the best day spa in the universe, using the many services and devices there to relax, like a creature of some sort that calms you down by putting you in its mouth and spitting you back out, which is pretty strange but not unusual by the show’s standard. They get to a machine that removes any part of yourself that thinks your toxic, which funnily enough, had a sufficient amount of negative traits to make a toxic body of our heroes with what they think is their worst traits. Toxic Rick is an irrational but caring, while Morty is an overemotional person with a lot of anxiety and low self-esteem while leaving their normal bodies with their best, ending up with a meek but cold Rick, while Morty is a sleazy, unempathetic happy person.
Toxic Rick tries to trick the healthy duo into getting into the device again to return them to the healthy bodies but actually trying to send them to the toxic world inside the device. It backfires of course with healthy Morty being able to send the duo both out before the device activates. The toxic duo do get free though which starts a good yet funny fight between them with many of Rick’s weapons scattered around the house being used against each other. Toxic Rick promptly makes a run for it, since if he can’t get healthy rick in the toxic world, he’ll turn earth into a toxic world, showing how irrational toxic Rick is.
The healthy duo stops the toxic duo and places their supposed toxicity back into their bodies by rick shooting toxic Morty because he knows toxic Rick has the care for Morty, which he doesn’t really care about which is quite amusing that Rick thinks that his love for Morty is a negative trait. Overall this episode is amazing and is one of the best episodes since the first episode of this season.
