Justin Edinburgh says his Newport County side lacked conviction following their 2-0 opening day defeat against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
The Exiles were favourites going into the game following an unbeaten pre-season but failed to live up to expectation with a performance the County boss was less than happy with.
“I’m obviously bitterly disappointed and there is no other reaction to have to that,” said Edinburgh on Saturday’s defeat.
