This is an Adam Sandler film, so you know it's a good one. The main character is sent to prison, after drunk-driving in his girlfriend's car. In prison, the warden asks, rather forces, him to coach the prison's American football team.
As you can imagine this is a difficult task, allowing for plenty of funny scenes, created by some of the wackiest characters you could have in a movie. It's a very funny, cleverly written story, with a strong story attached.
That's right: 'another hood' is spelt wrong in the title of this film. This might be because it matches the chav language used throughout the film.
There are many East-end chav films out there, but if you watch only one in your life time, make it this one. This low-budget film is based on a group of young, wannabe gangsters. However they keep getting bullied and made fun of by others in the neighbourhood; but with the way they act, you'll wish you could slap some sense into them through your screen!
There's not much of a story in this film, but each scene is written with great comedy, containing a lot of British humorous, cheesy lines and characters we probably all know in real life. If you don't like listening to the constant slang of chavs though, then this film isn't for you.
Unbelievably, a lot of people don't know about this amazing film, which is why I've added it into this blog. Four Muslims work together to become suicide bombers at a big event that's coming up. As awful as this sounds, the films couldn't funnier.
These four are not so much like lions, but more like optimistic idiots. They entertain us with their enthusiastic way of thinking and tactics of how to not get caught in their shenanigans.
This is another film that didn't take off very well when it was released. However, for those who gave it a chance know this film as uniquely funny, which carries a good, heart-felt story.
In this film, Simon Pegg takes his British humour and way of life to New York, after one of his paparazzi stunts goes viral. Now, he's an underdog apprentice at Time magazine. As you can imagine, the hierarchy looks down on him for being so different, but he soon proves that his way is the best way. And, of course, he does it with comedy around every corner.
Weirdly, this film is all about a bird watching competition. Sounds boring, but it's far from it; especially with a cast of Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Steve Martin.
The competition states that the winner is the person who spots the most birds in a year. So, the three main characters do everything in their power to win, even if it means stabbing each other in the back. Great characters played by great actors, and the film's odd storyline makes the comedy stand out from the crowd.
