I'm Kym Frederick. I write Story Behind The Song for the website each week, also various other articles about music, theatre, history and food. Obviously, I write this weekly feature about our volunteers too. I'm part of the events team and I present radio shows, The Mid-week-mix-up, 5-7pm on Wednesdays, when you can hear all sorts of music, from new releases to 80s classics, albums tracks including music from every genre. It's a real mix-up! I also present the 60s & 70s show, Turnback Thursday, 5-7pm.
I always have crazy stuff in my bag. At the moment, I have an assortment of jack plug adapters, some dog treats, a teaspoon and a Christmas tree decoration - I don't know why.
One of the furthest places I've been is Sri Lanka and the highlight of the trip was feeding baby elephants with bottles of milk at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Music by John Miles.
"Music was my first love and it will be my last. Music of the future and music of the past. To live without my music would be impossible to do. In this world of troubles, my music pulls me through."
My home made blackberry ripple ice cream. I gather the blackberries from the hedgerows when I'm out walking with my dogs. It is so yummy.
I think I'd like to be Betty Rubble from the Flintstones. She's cute and her husband, Barny is always cheerful and joking about.
I have a very old Afghan coat. It's shabby and smelly and I haven't worn it for donkeys years but I still love it and I coudn't throw it away.
Roger Moore, definitely. Mind you, I'd take him as The Saint, over James Bond any day, ha ha - that's me showing my age!
Barbara Bach who played Anya Amasova in The Spy Who Loved Me. She has been married to ex-Beatle, Ringo Starr since 1981.
My invention is called a Mozzamite pizza..
Ok, here's what you do. Get a packet of pizza dough mix from the supermarket, make the dough and roll out very thinly. Then mix some marmite with a knob of softened butter and spread over the base. Break a ball of mozzarella up and dot all over the pizza and finish with some grated cheddar before cooking for a few minutes in a very hot oven.
This is quite hard but I think I'm going to go for Basement Jaxx, Imelda May, The Rolling Stones and Patrizio Buanne.
