This time, it was Newport County’s turn to host their German friends Carl Zeiss Jena in a pre-season friendly that finished 1-0 to the Exiles.
Well over 1,000 Jena fans made the trip from Germany to South Wales as County wanted to return the excellent hospitality that they were given last year.
